It's a mystery! There's a secret hidden in Symphony Hall, and we need your help to find it.

But the music of Elgar, Tchaikovsky, Britten and Quincy Jones might give us a few clues, and presenter Tom Redmond, conductor Tianyi Lu and the 90 musicians of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra are here to lend a helping hand in this ingenious, interactive concert for the whole family.

Age guidance: Suitable for children aged 5 - 11

CBSO+ post-concert: Flagship CBSO education programme Project Remix concludes with a performance of orchestral arrangements of rock and pop music, performed by young musicians from across the West Midlands.

Symphony Hall

The City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra is the flagship of musical life in Birmingham and the West Midlands - and one of the world's great orchestras. Based in Symphony Hall, it gives over 130 concerts each year in Birmingham, the UK and around the world, playing music that ranges from classics to contemporary, film music and even disco. At its centre is a team of 90 superb professional musicians, and a 95-year tradition of making the world's greatest music.

Complementing the classical programme is the best in jazz, world music, folk, rock, pop and stand-up comedy.
